Police have seized 239 boxes of English liquor made in Punjab, whose market value is estimated at Rs 34 lakh. It is believed that it could have been used for distributing liquor during the Lok Sabha elections.

Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam said that in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the police is checking at various places. Meanwhile, this success was achieved at a block located in Hadan police station area of ​​Srikolayat. Here a truck was stopped at Nokhada block. When the truck owner was interrogated, he could not give a satisfactory answer. The truck was searched on this. Liquor bottles were hidden under the blankets in the truck. When the boxes were taken out one after the other, their number was 239. All of these contained English liquor made in Punjab. The police immediately seized the liquor and arrested the dryer. Truck driver Pragat Singh, resident of Amritsar Punjab, is only 34 years old. The total value of Punjab made English liquor of different brands in the truck is estimated at Rs 34 lakh. Bikaner Police is continuously taking action as per the Model Code of Conduct. SP Tejaswani Gautam said that all the routes coming into the city are being continuously investigated.
