Maharaj said that by connecting Punpun and Gaya, the tributaries of Ganga in Bihar, where Pind Daan is important, with Brahmakapal located in Badrinath Dham, Baidyanath Dham located in Deoghar, Jharkhand, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of the country, will also be connected with Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. Maharaj said that Uttarakhand has abundance of astro tourism destinations. Uttarakhand with its vast forest area, nature based tourism and home-stays is uniquely positioned to become the choice of astro tourist. Uttarakhand Tourism has started organizing Nakshatra Sabha (Astro Tourism) at various places in the state, which is India's first annual campaign. In view of the immense success of the first two Nakshatra Sabha (Astro Tourism) organized by Uttarakhand Tourism, now the third Nakshatra Sabha (Astro Tourism) will be organized in Benital, Chamoli from 08 to 10 November.
