There is a good news for the youth looking for jobs in government technical institutes of Bihar. Now young professionals will be appointed in various institutions under the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department of the state. For this, the Bihar government has prepared ‘Young Professional Selection Policy-2026’, which has also got the green signal from the state cabinet.
The main objective of this new policy is to give new energy and momentum to programs, projects and technical applications related to science and technology in the state. Under this, the department will select technically proficient youth in three different categories.
Recruitment will be done in these 3 categories (Eligibility Criteria)
According to the policy, the recruitment of Young Professionals in technical institutes will be for candidates who have done Diploma to Post Graduation (M.Tech). The following educational qualifications have been fixed for this:

First Category (Category-1): In this category, those candidates will be selected who have done good work in the related technical field. Diploma Have passed the examination and have Minimum 75 percent marks Be.

Second Category (Category-2): Under this, those candidates will be eligible who B.Tech Must have passed the examination with minimum 60 percent marks. Additionally, he/she should have a post in the concerned branch within the last three years. Valid GATE Score It is mandatory to have.

Third Category (Category-3): In this category, those youth who have M.Tech Must have passed the examination with minimum 60 percent marks. Apart from this, the condition is that their admission in M.Tech should also be on the basis of valid GATE score.
Tenure: Initially selection will be for 2 years
Under the Young Professional Policy-2026, these appointments will be made on contract basis and not on permanent basis:

The number of young professionals will be decided by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education as per the requirement of various engineering colleges and polytechnic institutes.
