Bihar Vision 2047 will realize the dreams of a developed state

Purnia, December 2 (HS). An important initiative to realize the dream of developed Bihar 2047 started today. On Monday, a special meeting-cum-workshop was organized under the Citizen Survey in Collectorate Pragyan Auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Sanjay Dubey. DM, DDC, ADM, SDM and BDO of all the districts of the division were present in the meeting. Bihar Government is preparing “Bihar Vision Document 2047” with the aim of giving a well-thought direction to the long-term development journey of the state.

This document will not only present solutions to the current challenges of Bihar, but will also prepare a roadmap of necessary strategies and policies to bring the state among the leading states of the country in the coming 25 years. Its launch is proposed on 26 January 2025. Arya Gautam, Nodal Officer of Bihar Vision Document 2047, Senior Assistant Director of BIPARD, Dr. V Venkatesh, Professor, Tata Institute of Social Science Mumbai and representatives of Transform Rural India Foundation also made important contributions in the meeting.

The specialty of this document is the widespread participation of the public. In the first phase, suggestions, ideas and feedback of citizens will be collected, which will capture the aspirations of every region and section of the state. District Magistrate Purnia Kundan Kumar instructed all the officials that the system should be prepared keeping the environment in mind, more and more people should be made job creators and the focus should be on creating an accessible, better and safe Bihar.

The Divisional Commissioner said that this effort is a strong step towards taking the state’s development journey to new heights and realizing the dream of a developed Bihar. District Officer of Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria, Assistant Collector Purnia, Deputy Development Commissioner of Divisional District, Block Development Officer and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
