Bihar team victorious in state level cricket tournament organized among disabled people

Saharsa, May 23 (HS). A two-day state level disabled cricket competition was organized on Thursday under the joint aegis of Kosi Regional Widow, Old Age, Disabled Committee and Bihar Disabled Cricket Association. The winner of this competition will be awarded Kosi Cup. This disabled cricket competition was inaugurated by Assistant Director of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Shailendra Kumar, President Vinay Bhushan Prasad, Member of Trust Council of Government of India and Institute General Secretary Mohan Kumar by tossing the coin at Saharsa Stadium.

On this occasion, the Assistant Director welcomed the members of Bihar and Jharkhand disabled team cricket team by shaking hands. The same President Vinay Bhushan Prasad and General Secretary Mohan Kumar boosted the morale by welcoming the disabled cricket players of Bihar and Jharkhand. He also said that a grand cultural program will also be organized by the disabled people on the land of Kosi.

The Assistant Director said that various programs are being run continuously among the disabled people. For the upliftment of the disabled people, various sports are being organized to encourage the players. The winning team in the state level cricket will get the opportunity to participate in the competition at the national level. On this occasion, Jharkhand Divyang Cricket Team won the toss and decided to bat first.

During this, Jharkhand team lost all wickets in 16 overs and scored a total of 99 runs. In response, Bihar team performed better and won the match in 13 overs by losing 6 wickets. The organizer said that Bihar team was the winner in today's semi-final. The final match will be organized tomorrow.
