Bihar tea gets new identity, trade mark approved

Kishanganj, 01 March (Hindustan Reporter). The trade mark of Bihar tea “Bihar Tea” has been approved by the Trade Mark Registry. It is noteworthy that tea is cultivated in about 5600 hectares in the state of Bihar, in which Kishanganj district is the main one. Expressing happiness, District Magistrate Tushar Singla said that with the approval of Bihar Tea trade mark, Bihar tea has got a unique identity and the tea producers of Kishanganj district will benefit from it.

He told that there is immense potential in the agricultural sector in Kishanganj district and he is trying to realize it in collaboration with the Agriculture and Industry Department. Under the Trade Marks Registry Act 1999, the Trade Marks Registrar is issued by the Government of India. The office of the Trade Marks Registrar is located in Mumbai Maharashtra. A trade mark is a mark used to distinguish a word, name, cause, label or number used in a business, or other similar items originating from another business or service. A registered trade mark is an asset or intellectual property of a business and is used to protect a company's investment in a brand or symbol.

To promote the tea of ​​Bihar, the Secretary, Agriculture Department, Bihar, Patna has also requested all the offices to use the tea of ​​tea producers located in the state of Bihar. Rajwadi Tea Kishanganj, Imran Tea & Agro Factory Kishanganj, Donk Tea Kishanganj and Mala Green Tea Factory Kishanganj are prominent among the tea producers located under the state of Bihar.
