Bihar: Stones pelted on Vande Bharat train during trial in Gaya, windows broken | News India

Bihar: The Vande Bharat trial train going from Tata to Patna was pelted with stones in Gaya on Tuesday. In this incident, the windows of the coach of this train were broken. However, the incident took place between Bandua-Tankuppa station of Dhanbad Railway Division.

A railway official reported broken windows
Confirming the incident, he said that on Tuesday the train was coming from Tata to Gaya via Gomo (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction), during which some miscreants started pelting stones on the train near km number 455 between Bandua and Tankuppa station. In which the window glass of seat number 4 of the second coach adjacent to the engine broke.

In which it was told that the coach whose window glass was broken has a number 24159. After the incident, officers and jawans were sent from Paharpur Outpost under RPF Post Koderma of Dhanbad Railway Division to investigate it.

According to RPF sources, near kilometer number 455 of Bandua Tankuppa station, there was stone pelting incident by unknown people on the trial train of Tata-Patna-Tata Up Vande Bharat Express.

It is said that the matter is being investigated
The journey started with the staff trial of Tata-Patna-Tata Up Vande Bharat Express from Gomoh to Gaya, where Sub Inspector Anand Alok was posted on escort duty at Railway Protection Force post Gomoh.

During the escort, at around 11:10 am, near kilometer number 455 of Bandhua Tankuppa station, the train was pelted with stones by some unknown person from the eastern direction. Due to which the outside windows of MC 3-4 coach of the said train got broken. Investigation has been started in this case.

The search for the stone pelters has been started. In this regard, Gaya station manager Vinod Kumar Singh said that an MT coach of Vande Bharat train has gone from Gomo to Patna. Departmental information was not given about the Vande Bharat trial conducted by Tata-Patna.
