Bihar Museum becomes center of attraction in International Trade Fair

New Delhi, 14 November (HS). The pavilion of partner state Bihar was inaugurated on Thursday to mark the beginning of the 43rd International Trade Fair. People will be able to visit the Bihar Museum in this pavilion. Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar, Director of Handloom and Sericulture Department of Bihar Government, inaugurated the pavilion by lighting the lamp today in the International Trade Fair running from 14th to 27th November. On this occasion, Director of Bihar Museum Ashok Kumar Sinha along with Udyog Mitra, other officials of Bihar Khadi and Industries Department were present.

This year, Bihar Pavilion has been set up as partner state in Hall No. 2 of Pragati Maidan in the International Trade Fair. In Bihar Pavilion, Civilization Gate, Bodhi Tree, Glass Bridge, Modern Nalanda University and the pavilion decorated with Madhubani painting, Manjusha painting and Tikuli art and Bihar Museum built in the center hall of the pavilion is the main center of attraction this time. Madhubani painting, terracotta art, Sikki art etc. are being displayed by Padmashree artists in Bihar Pavilion. The folk culture of Bihar can be seen through 75 stalls in the pavilion.

Bihar Pavilion Implementation Director Nikhil Dhanraj Nippanikar said that this time 75 stalls of handloom and handicraft and Khadi have been set up in the fair. In these stalls, traditional handicrafts and handloom products of Bihar have been given place including Baban Booti of Nalanda, Silk of Bhagalpur, Madhubani Painting of Mithilanchal, Tikuli Art of Patna etc. Apart from this, Bihar Khadi products are also kept.

Nikhil Dhanraj said that every year the Bihar Pavilion is decorated with unique designs and layout as per the theme of the fair. This year, the main gate of Bihar Pavilion has been given the form of Civilization Gate. On top of which an attractive logo of Developed Bihar@2047 has been made. The five major departments of Rising Bihar shown in the form of Rising Sun are Art and Culture, Industry, Tourism Travel. And Spirituality, Youth and Sports and Women Empowerment have been shown in this logo. He said that people will love to see the modern Nalanda University in 3D painting on one wall of Bihar Pavilion. At the same time, Buddha Bridge has also been shown. The other walls of Bihar Pavilion have been decorated by the famous artists of Mithila Painting, Manjusha Painting and Tikuli Art of Bihar. In the different circles made between these paintings, there are development programs of various departments of Bihar Government. is shown.
