Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has started the preparations for the Matriculation (10th) and Intermediate (12th) board examinations for the academic session 2026-27 ahead of time. The board has released the official dummy registration card for the students appearing in the next session. This dummy card is issued for the purpose of accurately checking the registration details of the students and correcting any human or technical errors much before the examination. Students who had completed their online registration by 22nd July 2026 can now check their dummy card details.

Chance for improvement till 14 August 2026, definitely check these mistakes

Bihar Board has clarified that students should check their dummy registration card thoroughly from 25th July to 14th August 2026. Within this time limit, students can match the name, spelling of parents’ name, date of birth, photo, gender, caste, religion, nationality and selected subjects on the basis of their original documents. If any error is noticed in any column, students should immediately inform their school principal so that the same can be amended on the online portal. Any change application will not be accepted after the deadline of August 14th.

Principals of schools will download from the portal, students will get two copies.

BSEB has sent clear guidelines in this regard to the heads of all government, non-government and affiliated schools in the state. The School Principal will download the dummy registration cards of all the registered students by logging in to the authorized portal of the Board through their user ID and password. After this, two copies of it will be given to the students with the seal of the school and the signature of the Principal. Students will sign one copy and submit it to the school and keep the other copy with them.

Big relief before the exam, there will be no problem in admit card and marksheet.

Bihar Board has activated separate online portals for both Matric and Inter classes so that schools do not face any problem in the revision process. The main objective of the Board is to ensure that no wrong information is printed in the final admit card, examination attendance sheet and future marksheets or certificates. The Board has appealed to all the students and parents to complete the matching of their dummy registration cards before the scheduled last date.
