    • Many buildings have collapsed due to the strong earthquake in Taiwan. Apart from this, many buildings tilted downwards. People are trapped under the debris of many collapsed buildings. Damage was reported in Hualien city on Taiwan's east coast, near the epicenter. Due to this earthquake, a tsunami alert has been issued in the Philippines and Japan.

    • Taiwan's fire department said on Wednesday that four people have died so far. Also, more than 50 people have been injured.
