Mega auction will be held in November
If reports are to be believed, the IPL 2025 auction will be held on November 24 and 25. But BCCI has not confirmed it yet. But 24th and 25th November are being considered fixed. This time many star players will participate in the mega auction. Apart from Rishabh Pant, big bets will be placed on many big players including Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Jos Buttler. Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals can also choose their new captain through the auction.

BCCI has increased the purse of all the franchises before IPL 2025. Earlier, every team had a budget of Rs 100 crore in its purse. But according to the new rules, now the franchise has been given a budget of Rs 125 crore. Punjab Kings have the most money after retention. Punjab has a purse of Rs 110.5 left for the mega auction. RCB has Rs 83 crore, SRH has Rs 45 crore, LSG has Rs 69 crore, Rajasthan has Rs 79 crore, CSK has Rs 69 crore while Delhi Capitals has Rs 73 crore.
