Held at Dr. BR Ambedkar Auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University Provincial Teacher Pride Workshop Addressing as the chief guest, the Chief Minister said that teachers are the basic consciousness of the society and the real creators of the future of the country.

If teachers guide the young generation properly with complete honesty and awareness, then no one can stop India from becoming a world leader again. The Chief Minister stressed that in today’s time, the main goal of all of us should be to not allow the disruptive forces that divide the country on the basis of caste, region, language and narrow interests to succeed. The country can be strengthened only through social harmony and national unity.

During his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while referring to the historical context, said that many big institutions have come up in the last century for social and cultural upliftment in the country. He told that in the year 1923 in Gorakhpur Geeta Press was established, immediately after this in 1925 Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and in 1926 All World Gayatri Family Was established.

The ways and areas of work of all these organizations may have been different, but the basic goal of all of them has been to raise public awareness in the society and to connect the citizens of the country with Indian culture and eternal values. Recalling the contribution of Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, the founder of Gayatri Parivar, he said that he did a commendable job of connecting spiritual power with the mainstream of nation building.

Expressing concern over the present social fabric, the Chief Minister said that earlier the biggest strength of our society used to be joint families, where every member of the family stood by each other in difficult times.

But in modern times, families are disintegrating due to monoculture, in such a situation the role of institutions and teachers who keep the society united becomes more important. Organizations like Gayatri Parivar are doing a commendable job of imparting moral values to today’s children and connecting them with their roots.

Along with education, the Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of environment and civic duties. He followed the call of the Prime Minister ‘A tree in the name of mother’ Referring to the campaign, he said that a total of 275 crore saplings have been planted in Uttar Pradesh from 2017 to 2026.

Describing rivers as life givers, he termed their conservation as essential for future generations. In the end, he called upon the teachers to make the students aware of their rights as well as their civic duties, so that the resolution of ‘Developed India’ can be fulfilled by the year 2047. Many dignitaries including All World Gayatri Parivar head Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh and MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh were present in this workshop.
