Durga Puja Hyderabad: Big news has come out from Hyderabad. An idol of Goddess Durga has been damaged by unidentified persons at Nampally Exhibition Ground in Hyderabad. After receiving the information, a team of police personnel from Begum Bazaar inspected the spot. The police have assured to investigate the matter and take action. On the other hand, anger is being seen among the people after the incident.
Some people have vandalized the Durga pandal in Nampally, Hyderabad. The accused has also broken the hand of Durga Devi. The incident came to light on Friday morning. When the organizers arrived to perform the puja. Organizers said police were present there till Thursday night. The time of the incident has not been revealed yet.
However, police say that some unknown people had left the donation box aside, due to which the arm of the idol of Goddess Durga got broken. As part of Devi Sharan Navratri celebrations, residents and staff of the Exhibition Society make an idol of the goddess every year.
First electricity was cut, then CCTVs were broken. Police and organizers said that the accused had cut off the electricity before entering the pandal. Then they also broke the CCTV cameras installed there. Therefore, no footage of the time of the incident can be revealed. The accused removed the barricading and also threw away puja material.
