School Holidays 2024: There is relief news for school students. Dr Mullai Muhilan, District Commissioner in Dakshina Kannada district, has announced the closure of all schools and pre-university colleges (up to class 12) on December 3 due to Cyclone Fengal.
Additionally, holidays have been declared for schools and pre-university colleges (up to Class 12) on December 3 in around nine districts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru and Mysore. Puducherry Education Minister A Namasivayam has decided to keep all government and government-aided schools, private schools and all colleges closed on December 3 in view of the safety of children.
Schools will remain closed in Madhya Pradesh also
In the capital of Madhya Pradesh too, there will be a holiday in schools and colleges on 3rd December due to the Bhopal gas tragedy. Usually a local holiday is declared on this day every year. During this period, the offices of the district headquarters will remain closed, while the offices in rural areas will remain open.
According to Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham of Karaira tehsil of Shivpuri, due to the event of Pandit Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha, there will be a holiday in all private schools from December 2 to 8.
When will schools be closed in December?
All educational institutions will remain closed on 25th December due to Christmas. Apart from this, there will be 4 Saturdays and 5 Sundays in December 2024. Most of the schools are currently closed on both Saturday and Sunday or on the second/last Saturday of the month, in such cases leave can be given. All schools will remain closed on Sundays, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th. Also, in many schools, classes are not held on second and fourth Saturdays, which will also benefit the students.
