School Holidays: As soon as the month of August started, holidays have also started. This month there are big festivals like 15th August, Raksha Bandhan and Krishna Janmashtami and in such a situation, the relief for school children and employees is that both these festivals are coming on the weekend. Due to which people will get rest for several consecutive days. In such a situation, there will be public holidays across the country on these days.

However, students will have many days to relax as August also has several culturally significant holidays that are important to stakeholders. Unlike July, which had almost no holidays, students will get many school holidays in August 2024, providing opportunities to relax amid their ongoing classes and school activities.

There will be holidays in schools across India for Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi and Krishna Janmashtami. Also, in the middle of the month, India will celebrate its 77th Independence Day, a national holiday during which schools, colleges and other institutions will be closed.
