DL New Rules: Your driving license will be made only when you pass driving on the testing track. It will be mandatory for applicants applying for driving license to undergo testing for all types of two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles. This new system will soon be implemented for the applicants applying for driving license in Saharsa district. For this, automated driving testing will be done in Amarpur of Kahra block of the district. The testing track will be built in 247 x 215 land. District Transport Officer Sanjeev Kumar said that automated driving testing work will be done in Amarpur with an estimated amount of Rs 47 lakh 79 thousand. In which separate testing tracks will be made for two wheeler, three wheeler and four wheeler vehicles. The Building Construction Department has been made the nodal agency to carry out the works. The Building Construction Department has issued a tender for this work. The last date for uploading documents related to e-tender has been fixed as 21 December 2024. The date of opening of technical bid has been fixed as 23 December 2024. The agency receiving the tender will have to complete the work within four months.

Testing track will be equipped with advanced technology: The automated driving testing track will be equipped with advanced technology. During testing, there will be modern arrangements like traffic, signal, reverse mode, access control, entry, exit, video analytics technology etc.

The entire examination will be recorded on camera: Applicants will have to take a driving test on the track within the stipulated time. Every activity will be captured on camera. The entire system will be computerized.

This system will come to reduce road accidents: Before issuing DL, applicants will have to take a test by driving on an automated driving testing track, due to which only skilled people will be able to get DL. DTO said that the system of automated driving has been implemented with the aim of reducing road accidents.

The test is being resumed.

Must be proficient in driving: Making DL will not be an easy task if there is a system of driving on automated testing track. First of all people have to be proficient in driving. Only then will they be able to pass by driving efficiently on the track. For this, people will have to learn driving by going to a school that provides driving training. Especially availability of drivers skilled in driving heavy vehicles like trucks and buses will reduce accidents.

Whether the applicant is capable of driving a vehicle or not will be tested by driving the vehicle on an automated driving test track. If the applicant passes the driving test, he will be issued a Computerized Driving License (DL). Applicants who fail will get a second chance, but the time period for it will be fixed. Let us tell you that at present there is a system of driving test before issuing learning license in the city police line, but it is not that effective.
