Schools Reopened: Change in weather is being seen across the country. There has been relief from heat in many states including Bihar and Jharkhand. Temperature has increased in many states. In view of the weather patterns, orders have been issued to open all schools in Jharkhand. In view of the rising temperature in Himachal Pradesh, the school timings have been changed.
Schools will open in Jharkhand from May 13
On April 29, in view of the scorching heat and heat wave, the Department of School Education and Literacy had issued an order to close private and government schools up to class 8th as relief. But due to cold, an order has been issued to open schools for classes KG to 8th from May 13. Schools will operate at their scheduled time from Monday.
School timings changed in Himachal Pradesh
After the temperature reached 39.4 degrees in Una, Himachal Pradesh, the district administration has changed the timings of schools. From May 13, all government and private schools will function from 8 am to 1 pm. The time will be compensated by cutting school holidays and morning prayer time. Keeping in mind the health of the students, District Officer Jatin Lal has taken this step.
How is the weather condition in both the states?
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding rain and storm in many districts of Himachal Pradesh on 12 and 13 May. Orange alert has been issued regarding hailstorm in Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Saulan, Bilaspur and Chamba. The maximum temperature of Una is 39.04 degrees, Bilaspur temperature is 35.5 degrees, Neri is 38.5 degrees. It has been drizzling and raining in Jharkhand for the last two days. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain cold for the next 3 to 4 days in many districts including Ranchi and Dhanbad.
