Minister of State for Irrigation and Water Resources Abhay Singh Yad Nangal Chaudhary lost to Congress candidate Manju Chaudhary by six thousand votes.
Congress's Nirmal Singh defeated Minister of State for Panchayat Aseem Goyal by more than 11 thousand votes from Ambala seat. Finance Minister Jai Prakash also lost from Loharu seat to Congress's Rajbir Fartia by a margin of 792 votes. Health Minister Kamal Gupta lost the Hisar seat to independent candidate Savitri Jindal.
