The Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan has taken a big decision regarding 20 new districts created during the previous Congress government. In the state cabinet meeting, the proposal to abolish nine of these districts was approved.

Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan has taken a big decision on Saturday. In the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Bhajan Lal on Saturday, it has been decided to abolish the nine districts created during the Gehlot government. Cabinet ministers Jogaram Patel and Sumit Godara gave this information to journalists on Saturday. He said that the Bhajan Lal government has taken a big decision regarding 20 new districts created during the previous Congress government. He said eight out of 20 districts would remain unchanged. The new departments created by the previous government will cease to exist.

The Bhajanlal government abolished 9 districts and three divisions formed during the Gehlot regime. The districts which have been cancelled. These are – Dudu, Kekdi, Shahpura, Neemkathana, Gangapur City, Jaipur Rural, Jodhpur Rural, Anupgarh, Sanchore, Balotra, Vyawar, Deeg, Didwana-Kuchman, Kotputli-Behror, Khairthal-Tijara, Phalodi and Salambar districts remain unchanged.

Gram Panchayats will be reorganized

Law Minister Jogaram Patel said that Gram Panchayats of Rajasthan will be reorganized. This year we will provide employment to one lakh unemployed. He said that new beneficiaries will be added to the food security scheme. He said that now CET (Common Eligibility Test) scores of up to three years will be counted. Earlier the score of one year was counted.
