Iran-Israel War: A major cyber attack took place on Iran on Saturday (October 12) amid the ongoing war in the Middle East. According to the information, many important information has been stolen in this cyber attack on Iran's government and nuclear sites. Three branches of the government have been targeted in this attack. There is no information about when this cyber attack happened and who did it. It is noteworthy that in October, Iran had rained missiles on Israel. After this, Israel is shocked and has decided to take revenge. A few days ago, the Prime Minister of Israel held a meeting regarding this, in which there was discussion about targeting Iran's nuclear sites.
A large amount of information was stolen
Iran International quoted Firozabadi, former secretary of Iran's Supreme Council of Cybersecurity, as saying that there has been a major cyber attack on all three branches of the Iranian government, the judiciary, the legislature and the executive branch. A large amount of information has been stolen from here. These attacks have targeted nuclear sites as well as fuel distribution, municipal networks, transportation networks, ports and other networks. This is part of a long list of different areas across the country that are under attack.
This cyber attack has happened at a time when America has imposed many sanctions on Israel. The sanctions imposed on the petroleum and petrochemical sector have been imposed after Iran's missile attack on Israel. The US move is part of sanctions on government aid to Iran for its missile programs.
Iran took revenge?
Earlier, Iran had said that if its arch enemy Israel attacks, it is fully prepared to protect its sovereignty. The Islamic Republic, along with two of its close allies, Hamas leader Ismail Haniya and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, launched a missile attack on Israel on October 1 in retaliation for the assassination of an Iranian general.
