Liquor and beer have become expensive in Haryana today. 5 rupees more on country liquor and 20 rupees more on beer. The price of a bottle of foreign liquor has also been increased by 5 percent. A new excise policy is being implemented in Haryana. The government has also brought imported liquor under its purview. Foreign liquor will be sold at a 20 percent profit on the wholesale rate at which the contractor will get it.

The licensed bar operator in the hotel will now be able to buy liquor from any of the three nearby shops. A condition has also been imposed that all three liquor shops should be owned by different license holders. This time, the excise policy has been increased by 7 percent compared to the reserve price, while the liquor rates have been increased less. Earlier, it was increased by 50 to 60 rupees per belt. This time, there has been an increase of 20 to 25 rupees per belt.
