The High Court has canceled the state government's decision to increase the scope of reservation from 50 percent to 65 percent. That is, now it will be only 50 percent. The bench of the Chief Justice of Patna High Court gave this decision after the state government's decision to give 65 percent reservation to SC, ST, EBC and other backward classes in educational institutions and government jobs was challenged.
