Manas Sinha joins BJP: Even before the elections in Jharkhand, Congress has suffered a big setback. Former working president of the party Manas Sinha has resigned from the party and joined BJP. BJP's Jharkhand in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma got Sinha the membership of the party. Sinha claimed Bhavnathpur assembly seat from Congress. But Congress did not pay attention to them. In his place, candidates from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are in the fray. Due to this, anger is being seen among the Congress workers of Bhavnathpur. In such a situation, Manas Sinha has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
I gave my precious 27 years to the party
Before joining BJP, Manas Sinha had resigned from Congress and had written a letter to the President of the Indian Congress Committee informing about his resignation from the party. Manas Sinha has written in his letter that, 'I have given my precious 27 years to the party. I have honestly fulfilled the responsibility given to me by the party. I tried to give good results every time and I have proved myself. But I feel, my work has no value here. My work is not important.

Sinha further wrote in the letter, 'This is the fourth time that the party has insulted me. I have been looked down upon. There is a limit to tolerance for anything. Now it seems that my tolerance has reached its limits. Till now I was thinking only about Congress, but now the time has come that I should think about myself also. Therefore, I resign from the primary membership and all posts of the Congress Party.

Let us tell you that elections will be held in two phases in Jharkhand. The first phase of voting will be held on November 13, while the second phase of voting will be held on November 20. The election results will be declared on 23 November.
