Big announcement of CM Yogi in Ayodhya: Names of two cities changed

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once again taken a big step towards returning the cultural and historical identity of Ayodhya district. While addressing a grand public meeting organized in Bikapur on Friday, CM Yogi made a historic announcement of changing the names of two major Nagar Panchayats of the district. Now, respecting the local public sentiments, Khiloni-Suchitganj Nagar Panchayat will be known as ‘Maa Jwala Ji’ and Bhadarsa Nagar Panchayat will be known as ‘Bharat Nagar’.

Name ‘Maa Jwala Ji’ approved on demand of MLA

The Chief Minister told from the stage during the public meeting that the proposal to change the name of Khiloni-Suchintaganj was put forward by local BJP MLA Amit Singh Chauhan. Respecting the faith of the people, he had requested to name this Nagar Panchayat as ‘Maa Jwala Ji’, which the government has happily accepted. Now officially this area will be called Maa Jwala Ji Nagar Panchayat.

Bhadarsa will now be called ‘Bharat Nagar’, honor to Ram’s brother

CM Yogi also explained the deep cultural significance behind changing the name of Bhadarsa to ‘Bharat Nagar’. He said that this entire area associated with Bharat Kund will now be recognized as a symbol of sacrifice and unwavering devotion of Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram. During Lord Rama’s exile, Bharat performed penance by placing his ‘Padukas’ on the throne and staying in Bharat Kund for 14 years. It is impossible to find a brother like him in the world, so this new name is dedicated to his dignity. This Nagar Panchayat will be developed further and faster.

SP cornered on crime and appeasement

With the announcement of name change, the Chief Minister launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party. Referring to the recent incident of rape of a minor in Bhadarsa, he said that the behavior of SP representatives reveals their true character. The public has seen how protection was given to the criminals, although the shopping complex of the accused has already been razed to the ground as part of the government’s strict action.

The era of cultural revival continues in UP

The process of restoring the mythological names of cities and tehsils is continuing under the Yogi government. Before this, Allahabad has been named Prayagraj and Faizabad as Ayodhya. Recently, on July 6, cabinet approval was given to change the name of Jalalabad tehsil of Shahjahanpur to ‘Lord Parshuram Puri’, while an announcement has also been made to rename Fazil Nagar of Kushinagar as ‘Pavagarh’.

Bikapur got a gift of Rs 432 crore

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had come to Bikapur, Ayodhya to write a new chapter of development. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 217 development projects costing more than Rs 432 crore here. Along with this, a grand statue of former Uttar Pradesh minister Munna Singh Chauhan was also unveiled in Sahawal block. Appreciating the huge crowd that turned out despite bad weather and heavy rain, CM Yogi said that this enthusiasm of the people shows the vibrant spirit of Ayodhya and their faith in the development. The pace of development will now be faster in the entire Ayodhya district including Bikapur, Milkypur, Rudauli and Gosainganj.
