Sri Lanka Cricket made a big announcement
The Indian women's team has been announced for the T20 Asia Cup. In which the Indian women's team will play its first match against the Pakistan women's team on July 19. Earlier, Sri Lankan Cricket has given great news to the fans. Sri Lanka Cricket said in a press release that all the matches will be broadcast live on international platforms and fans will be allowed free entry into the stadium. Now fans can go to the stadium and watch all the matches of the Women's T20 Asia Cup for free.
4 teams were placed in each group
All 8 teams have been divided into two groups of 4 each. In which the Indian women's team is included in Group A. Apart from India, this group includes Pakistan, UAE and Nepal. Group B includes teams from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand. A total of 15 matches will be played in the tournament, including two semi-finals and a final. The final match will be played on July 28.
Indian team will play matches with these three teams
The Indian women's team will play its first match against Pakistan on July 19. This will be followed by matches against UAE on July 21 and Nepal on July 23. India is the defending champion and has won the tournament a record seven times. The first match will be played between UAE and Nepal at 2 pm. Sri Lanka's first match in the tournament will be against Bangladesh on July 20 at 7 pm.
