The Cabinet of UAE has announced a week-long holiday in view of Eid-ul-Fitr. According to the available information, Eid Al Fitr holidays for government employees will be valid from Monday 8 April 2024 to Sunday 14 April 2024. Regular work will be started from April 15.

The UAE Cabinet announced that work will resume from Monday, April 15 as the country announced a one-week mandatory holiday for public sector workers. Apart from this, private sector employees can expect announcement at the right time. Government employees will be able to spend time with family during these holidays and enjoy the festival.

Ramadan is special in UAE

The month of Ramadan is celebrated in a very special way in the United Arab Emirates. There are some traditions here also. Preparations for Ramadan in the UAE begin in the middle of Shaban. According to media reports, earlier it was being said that Eid would be celebrated on 8th April but now it is believed that it is difficult to see the Eid moon on 8th April. In such a situation, this year the month of Ramadan may end on March 9. This year, the first day of Shawwal month and Eid-ul-Fitr can be celebrated on Wednesday (April 10, 2024).
