Annual recruitment calendar will be released
Announcing the new system related to railway recruitment, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Railway Ministry will now release an annual recruitment calendar for the Group 'C' category every year, so that the youth can get more time to prepare. The Modi government has instructed that the recruitments in the railways, which used to happen in 4-5 years earlier, should now be done every year and a simple recruitment process should be adopted to provide jobs.
The plan was made in 2022, according to which recruitment was planned in January, April, June and October. This year recruitment was conducted from January 2024 to March 2024. Due to the old recruitment system in railways, the youth had to face problems. They used to take another route while waiting for the tide to turn, but now this will not happen. Now they will be able to get a job in the railways soon.
