Washington, October 18 (HS). Israel Defense Forces on Thursday killed its biggest enemy Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar in Gaza as part of its military operation. Sinwar had led the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel last year and was on Israel's hit list. After Sinwar's death, Israel said that it has completed its revenge but its fight will continue until the hostages are released.

US President Joe Biden, reacting to the death of Yahya Sinwar, said that it is a good day for the whole world. He said DNA testing confirmed that Sinwar was killed. This is a good day for the whole world along with Israel and America. This is a good opportunity for the release of Israeli hostages. This will end the Gaza war that has been going on for a year. US Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has also said that America, Israel and the entire world are in a better position because of the death of Hamas leader Yahya, who is responsible for killing thousands of innocent people. This is an opportunity to end the war in Gaza.

Israel claimed to have killed Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar on Thursday night. Israel and America have been claiming that Yahya Sinwar had led the terrorist attack in southern Israel on October 7 last year, in which 1200 people were killed and about 250 people were taken hostage.

It is noteworthy that Sinwar was made Hamas chief after Hamas leader Ismail Haniya was killed in Israeli action in Tehran in July. Sinwar was born in 1962 in a refugee camp in Khan Yunis, Gaza City. Hamas was formed in 1987 and Yahya Sinwar was one of its founding members. Sinwar, notorious for his cruelty, killed 12 of his associates on suspicion, after which he came to be known as the Butcher of Khan Yunis.
