Bhuvan Bam’s strong acting, but the story lacks suspense.

The second season of the suspense thriller ‘Taaja Khabar’, released on Disney Plus Hotstar, starts from where the story of the first season ended. In the story, the main character Vasant Gawde (Bhuvan Bam) receives a shocking news that he has been murdered. After this, “latest news” stops coming in Vasant’s phone.

The city’s biggest don Yusuf (Javed Jaffrey) arrives at Vasant’s dead body and insults him and talks about recovering Rs 1000 crores from him. Strong acting by Bhuvan Bam

Bhuvan Bam looks more confident this season. Especially in his emotional scenes, he reflects the pain of his real life. It is not hidden from anyone that Bhuvan has lost his parents during Corona. This is the reason why in some scenes it seems as if Bhuvan is actually communicating with his parents.

His natural acting can make the audience emotional. It would not be wrong to say that Bhuvan has put life into his character.

Javed Jaffrey and other characters

• Javed Jaffrey has said an interesting dialogue in the series: “People are not bad, situations are bad, it is a false saying, people are bad.” His style is definitely funny, but his character does not seem as strong as it was shown in the trailer.
• Shriya Pilgaonkar and Deven Bhojani have done a decent job.
• Gauri Pradhan Tejwani and Shilpa Shukla have also performed well in their roles.
• However, the characters of Mehboob Bhai (Deven Bhojani) and Madhu (Shriya Pilgaonkar) seem a bit incomplete and dull.

weak links in the story

Writers Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal may have written good dialogues, but this time they have failed to create suspense and thrill properly.

• As much as Javed Jaffrey’s character was shown to be effective in the trailer, he is not able to leave that much impact in the series. It seems that his character has been written and finished in a hurry.
• Mehboob Bhai’s dialogue, “Your boon has been taken away from you because your Goddess Lakshmi is angry with you.”gives a different direction to the story. But despite this, the concept of luck and miracles which was there in the first season, was not implemented properly in this season.

incomplete use of nepali song

Nepali song ‘Paisa’ was used in the trailer of the series, which excited the Nepalese audience a lot. But this song was not used properly in the series. Had this song been presented with the right scene, it could have covered up many of the weaknesses of the series.

Should we watch ‘Taaja Khabar 2’ or not?

If you are a fan of Bhuvan Bam, then you will definitely like this series. His strong acting and emotional scenes will touch the heart. However, if you are expecting a strong suspense and thriller, you may be a little disappointed.
