Kaithal, March 3 (Hindustan Reporter) Former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupendra Singh Hooda on Sunday hit out at his political opponent and main leader of the SRK group, Randeep Singh Surjewala, who not only made a series of election promises but also projected his son Deependra Singh Hooda. While Bhupendra Singh Hooda is blocking the path of Randeep Surjewala in Haryana, Deependra Hooda is giving him competition in the national politics of the Congress organization.
In the public anger rally organized in Kalayat of Kaithal district, Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that the government has trapped the farmer in the portal. Crops are getting ruined due to rain and hail but farmers have to wait for their turn. Hooda said that the Haryana government has not given compensation of Rs 422 crore to the farmers for the last three years. The BJP government had said that it will double the income of farmers in 2019. Not just doubling the income, but definitely doubling the costs.
Making election promises to the people, Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that after the elections, the change of power in the state is certain and if the Congress government comes, pension of Rs 6000 per month will be given to the elderly, 300 units of electricity will be free to every family, gas will be given to women at Rs 500. Cylinder, confirmed recruitment on 2 lakh vacant government posts for youth, by implementing free plot scheme of 100-100 yards for poor families, they will build houses on that plot. Will make Haryana drug free and will free people from portals. Will give yellow cards to poor families. Will implement the policy of bring medal, get position for sports players. Will implement the old pension scheme for the employees. The creamy layer income limit will be increased from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
State Congress President Udaybhan raised questions on the working style of the government and said that every person has been given the right to peaceful protest in the Constitution, then why are farmers being stopped from protesting peacefully. MP Deepender Hooda said that this time some people will come again in disguise to deceive public sentiments. BJP-JJP are running the government in alliance but will fight the elections separately. He cautioned the people and said that this alliance is not a betrayal, it is an opportunity to drive away BJP-JJP.
