Keeping in mind the continuous demand of the students of Kashi Hindu University, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain has approved a bus with a capacity of 55 seats to run in the campus. The bus is equipped with CCTV cameras and other facilities. This bus has also started running in the campus from Friday.
Chief Security Officer Dr Shiv Prakash Singh flagged off the bus from his office. This bus will start from Mahila Mahavidyalaya and will run on its fixed route via Naveen Hostel, Triveni Complex. The administrative guardians of various hostels have been informed about the fixed route of the bus so that they can inform the residents of their hostels about it. Earlier also a bus was run only for girl students. Only women can sit in this 32-seater bus.
According to the Chief Security Officer, the operation of a total of four buses in the campus will provide great convenience to the students. On the demand of the students, Registrar Prof. Arun Kumar Singh and the officials of the Estate Department took immediate action and started the operation of the buses.
