Bhopal, 13 November (HS). In Bhopal district, the work of making Ayushman cards for senior citizens above 70 years of age is continuing. Till now, Ayushman cards of 10 thousand senior citizens have been made in the district. Social organizations are also cooperating extensively in this campaign. In this sequence, on the initiative of retired senior administrative officer Kavindra Kiyawat, a special Ayushman and health check-up camp was organized by the Prayas Public Welfare Committee in collaboration with the Health Department in Arera Colony on Wednesday. Ayushman cards of 101 people above 70 years of age were made in the camp. Health check-up of 139 people was done in the health camp organized on this occasion. Abha ID of 125 people was made.
In the camp, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, Chief Executive Officer Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Dr. Yogesh Bharsat, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan discussed with senior citizens and gave detailed information about this scheme. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Yogesh Bharsat said that under the scheme, Ayushman Vaya Vandana cards are being made for all the elderly people of 70 years of age and above. No limit related to poverty line or income has been set in this. With this card, senior citizens will get cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh on admission. All major government and private hospitals of the state have been affiliated in this scheme. In Bhopal, beneficiaries are getting the facility of cashless treatment through many hospitals like All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Hamidia Hospital, Jaiprakash District Hospital, Chirayu Medical College, People’s Medical College, LN Medical College, Bansal Hospital, National Hospital, Nobel Hospital. .
In a special camp organized on the initiative of Prayas Jan Kalyan Samiti at E 2 Arera Colony on Wednesday, committee president Aparna Vashishtha, vice president Lalita Khabya, secretary Nidhi Khandelwal, treasurer Kamaldeep Saluja, executive members Archana Bastaria, Manjari Awasthi, Nisha Nenwani, Rashmi Srivastava, Rajshree. Senior citizens above 70 years of age whose Ayushman cards have already been made will have to get re-registered. This will give them an additional top up of Rs 5 lakh, which will be in addition to the treatment of Rs 5 lakh received by the family. Cashless treatment of this additional amount will be available to them personally.
