BHEL pays final dividend of Rs 55 crore to Government of India | News India

Haridwar, September 18 (HS). Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has paid a final dividend of Rs 55 crore to the Government of India for the year 2023-24.

In this regard, a cheque for final dividend on equity (63.17 per cent) held by Government of India was handed over to Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel HD Kumaraswamy by BHEL Chairman and Managing Director

K. Sadashiva Murthy presented it in the presence of HI Secretary Kamran Rizvi.

Ajit Aggarwal, Head of Communication and Public Relations, BHEL Haridwar, said that the Director of BHEL and senior officials of the Ministry of Heavy Industries were also present on this occasion. It is worth noting that the total dividend given to the shareholders of the company for the financial year 2023-24 is more than Rs 87 crore.
