An incident of attacking and threatening a doctor of a private hospital in Bhavnagar district has come to light. Three angry people attacked the doctor when he was asked to remove his shoes before entering the emergency room. According to a police officer, the police have arrested three people who attacked the doctor of Shreya Hospital in Shihor on Saturday.
He further said, on September 12, the three accused had come to the hospital for the treatment of a woman who had suffered head injuries.
As stated in the FIR, “When they entered the emergency room, the doctor asked them to remove their slippers, upon which the three men started misbehaving with the doctor and nursing staff present in the emergency room.”
These people attacked and injured Dr. Jaydeep Singh Gohil (33). It has also been recorded in the FIR that they damaged the medicines and other equipment present in the room and threatened to kill the doctor.
According to the police officer, action has been taken against the accused Hiren Dangar, Bhavdeep Dangar and under sections 115 (2) (acting with intent to cause hurt), 352 (intentional attempt to breach peace), 351 (3) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. A case has been registered against Kaushik Kuwadia and he has been arrested.
