‘Bharat Taxi’ will make traveling in UP easier during Navratri-Diwali

Now the wheels are moving towards small cities, preparation to provide service to 12 more cities in a month

Before Navratri, people of Ayodhya, Agra and Meerut will start getting facilities.

More than 50 thousand drivers of the state are connected, two and three wheeler drivers are also being connected to the network.

Lucknow, October 3: Whether going to the temple during Navratri, shopping from the market on Diwali or reaching the railway station and bus stand, many more cities of Uttar Pradesh will soon get the facility to book a taxi through mobile. After Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Kanpur and Prayagraj, now the wheels of ‘Bharat Taxi’ are moving towards small and big cities of the state.
Yogi government is trying to provide great facilities to the people of the state during festivals. There are preparations to extend the service to 12 more cities within a month. In these, preparations have been completed to connect the residents of Ayodhya, Agra and Meerut with this facility before Navratri.

Ground onboarding and driver registration work has started for the expansion of Bharat Taxi in most cities of Uttar Pradesh. With this, the scope of app based taxi service will expand from big metros of the state to small cities.

Taxi will run from Mathura to Mirzapur

In the next phase, preparations are underway to start Bharat Taxi service in Mathura, Firozabad, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Sitapur, Hathras, Etawah, Mirzapur and Rae Bareli. The process of connecting drivers and vehicles to the platform has been expedited in these cities. The aim is that within a month the services will become available to the people of these cities.

In this expansion, there is also a special focus on religious and tourist cities. A large number of devotees reach cities like Ayodhya and Mathura, while Agra sees a lot of tourists from all over the country and the world. After the service is available in Varanasi and Prayagraj, now preparations are on to bring other such major cities into the network.

Not only cars, bikes and auto drivers will also be connected

Two wheeler and three wheeler drivers will also be included in Bharat Taxi’s network. This will increase the options for passengers even for short distances. At the same time, a new medium will be created for the youth driving bike, auto and taxi to reach the passengers through digital platform.

Currently, more than 50 thousand drivers have joined Bharat Taxi in Uttar Pradesh. This number is expected to increase further as onboarding begins in new cities. With the expansion of cities, emphasis is being laid on connecting drivers to the network at the local level.

Emphasis on expanding Bharat Taxi network before the festival: JPS Rathore

Cooperative Minister JPS Rathore said that during Navratri in October and subsequent Diwali, the pressure of passengers increases at markets, religious places, railway stations and bus stands in cities. Keeping this in view, the process of preparing networks in new cities has been expedited. After presence in five major cities in the first phase, now preparations are on to take it to different parts of the state.

According to the plan, 12 more cities of the state will be connected to the Bharat Taxi network in a month. This means that in the coming months, there are preparations to rapidly expand the scope of this app-based local transport network in Uttar Pradesh. Soon people from many cities in the state will be able to enjoy the wonderful journey of Bharat Taxi.
