Lucknow, 15 August (HS). A program to commemorate the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be held at ABB Convention Center near King George Medical College in Lucknow on August 16 at 4 pm. This program will be organized by the revered Atal Bihari Memorial Foundation.
For the tribute program, cleanliness work was done at the convention center on Thursday and the process of putting up hoardings by BJP supporters started. Patron of the committee formed for organizing the program and Deputy Chief Minister of the state Brajesh Pathak said that many memories of revered Atal ji are associated with Lucknow. Every year we pay tribute to Atal ji by organizing events on his death anniversary and birthday. This year too, a tribute ceremony and solo poetry reading have been organized on his death anniversary.
