Katihar, April 16 (Hindustan Reporter) Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will flag off Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train from New-Jalpaiguri of Katihar Railway Division on May 18. Through this special tourist train of IRCTC, one can visit Ramlala in Ayodhya along with Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura and Vrindavan.
On Tuesday, IRCTC-Eastern Region Group General Manager Zafar Azam said that this train will depart from New Jalpaiguri on May 18 and return on May 26. This train will stop at New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Kapurhat, Dumka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Kiul and Patna for boarding the passengers.
He said that booking for the journey can be done on IRCTC website www.irctctourism.com. For the New Day journey, a person will have to pay Rs 17,900. It is noteworthy that Indian Railways is giving about 33 percent concession to promote rail tourism under Bharat Gaurav Train Scheme. Pilgrims will be provided all kinds of facilities in the train during the journey. Apart from morning and evening tea, breakfast and three vegetarian meals will be provided. Non-air-conditioned bus will be provided for sightseeing.
