Jodhpur, 20 August (HS). Jodhpur Commissionerate Police is on alert mode regarding the call for Bharat Bandh proposed on 21 August. DCP East today held a meeting with the representatives and traders who had called for the bandh. Administrative officers and intelligence officers were also present during the meeting. During this, an appeal was made for a peaceful bandh. In the meeting, the DCP warned of taking action in case of violation of law and order.
In fact, the message of Bharat Bandh on 21st August from Bhimsena and Bahujan Dalit Samajik Sangathan is going viral on social media. In such a situation, DCP East Alok Srivastava held a meeting with the representatives of the organizations. During this, the representatives were also invited to discuss with the business organizations. Both the organizations were talked to and appealed to organize the event peacefully. Here, the business organizations say that there was no information about this bandh in advance, so the sudden bandh will cause a lot of loss to the traders. On this, DCP East has instructed the representatives to do the bandh peacefully, and also warned that if law and order is violated then the police will take action. The representatives present in the meeting also assured a peaceful bandh.
DCP East said that representatives of the organizations calling for the proposed bandh were called and told to take permission from the traders' organizations and form a steering committee. Also, appoint volunteers who can control those participating in this bandh. He said that it has already been told that if anyone violates law and order, action will be taken against him.
