Also, while returning from the program, the Chief Minister accepted the greetings of the people who came to welcome him at many places on the way and also stopped the convoy and met the people of the area with affection.
The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride that the party is being led by a leader like Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has been elected by the people of the country for the third time. He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is creating new records of success. Just a few days ago, Russia has awarded PM Modi with its highest civilian honour. India's honour and respect has increased across the world and behind this is the vision and tireless hard work of our Prime Minister.
He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Central Government did historic works like the abolition of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, renovation of Kashi Vishwanath, construction of Mahakal Lok Corridor in Ujjain. He said that the Congress imposed emergency in the country on 25 June 1975 by killing the country's democracy and crushing the Constitution through dictatorship. On this day of emergency, 25 June has been declared 'Samvidhan Hatya Diwas' by the Government of India. Sharma said that environment is the biggest concern of the world today, keeping this in mind, the successful Prime Minister started the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5 June. We all have to take this campaign forward with more speed.
The Chief Minister said that since the formation of our government on 15 December 2023, we have fulfilled 45 percent of the promises made in the Sankalp Patra. On December 16 itself, we formed a high-level SIT and in six months, more than 100 paper leak criminals have been arrested. Sharma said that during the rule of the previous government, the state remained a refuge for land mafias, mining mafias, drug mafias, cow smugglers. On December 16 itself, we formed an SIT against organized crime and now gangsters have been forced to hide. Although the challenges are not less, but we will bridge the gap of backwardness dug by the previous government and build a new building of development.
He said that we are working on good governance with 10 resolutions to make Rajasthan a developed state in 2047. We have provided gas cylinders to poor mothers and sisters for Rs. 450, and increased the social security pension to Rs. 1,150. As soon as we came to power, we have reduced the price of petrol by more than Rs. 7 and diesel by more than Rs. 6. Mr. Sharma said that a provision of Rs. 1,500 crore has been made for the welfare of scheduled castes and tribes in this state budget and Govind Guru Tribal Area Development Scheme will be started for tribal families of scheduled areas.

Also, in this budget, we have made a provision of more than Rs 96 thousand crores for agricultural development and welfare of farmers. Mr. Sharma said that in the budget presented on July 10, we have made a provision of 8.26 percent of the budget i.e. Rs 27 thousand 660 crores for the expansion of medical facilities in the state. We have set a target to develop a road network of 53 thousand kilometers in 5 years by spending about Rs 60 thousand crores. We have set a target of planting and nurturing seven crore trees in this tree plantation campaign. He said that we will give one lakh government jobs to the youth this year and four lakh government jobs in five years. Our government has worked to give 50 percent reservation to women in third class teacher recruitment for women empowerment.
The Chief Minister said that our previous government had come up with the ERCP scheme in 2013-14. The Congress government that came in between kept it hanging. We had promised that we will implement ERCP and as soon as we came to power, an MoU was signed between the Central Government, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Government regarding the ERCP project that will provide drinking water to the old 13 districts and new 21 districts and irrigation water to 2 lakh 80 thousand hectares of farmers' land. In the coming days, you will see that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of this project. Sharma said that the Congress people in Shekhawati region used to ask for votes in the name of bringing Yamuna water, but never did any work for it. Even no correspondence was ever done with the Central or Haryana Government in this regard. But we showed willpower and worked under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the Haryana-Rajasthan agreement was reached.
Sharma said that the previous Congress government left a deficit of Rs 90 thousand crore in the power sector and that government did not take any work forward in the field of power generation. He said that keeping in view the needs of the people of the state, we have signed MoUs worth Rs 2.25 lakh crore with the power companies of the central government. We will increase power generation through solar energy, Kusum Yojana, Pump Yojana and I assure the people of Rajasthan that by 2027 we will be self-sufficient in the field of power. Rajasthan will soon become a state that sells power, not buys power.
