West Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will be able to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail as a regular visitor. Tihar Jail administration has given permission for this. Like common people, they will be able to meet Kejriwal through Milan Van. Bhagwant Mann had written a letter to Tihar Jail administration seeking permission to meet Arvind Kejriwal in jail.
An official of Tihar Jail said that the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) of Punjab has written a letter to the Director General of Tihar Jail, Sanjay Beniwal. In this, time was sought to meet Kejriwal and immediate arrangements were asked to be made for his meeting. He said that its answer will soon be given to the Chief Minister's Office. Their meeting will be like normal meetings.
Visitors can meet twice a week
The official said that Kejriwal will have to include Bhagwant Mann's name in the list of visitors. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has revealed the names of five visitors. These names include the names of Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak, private secretary, wife and children. Visitors can meet twice a week.
Kejriwal is meeting the lawyer every day
According to sources, Bhagwant Mann may meet Kejriwal. The jail administration will have to make adequate security arrangements for them. The jail administration says that Arvind Kejriwal is meeting his lawyer daily and has also talked to his relatives through video conference.
