On Wednesday morning, Giridharan, his wife and both children started feeling dizzy and then started vomiting. When the neighbors came to know about this, they admitted the entire family to the hospital.

During this time, Giridharan’s one year old son Sai Sudarshan and six year old daughter Vishalini died. Whereas the condition of Giridharan and his wife Pavitra still remains critical. Doctors say that the health of both is being taken care of.

The whole family was troubled by rats

The incident was informed to Kundrathur police. When the police started investigating the case, they came to know that Giridharan’s entire family was troubled by rats in the house. Rats were damaging the things kept in the house. So he took help from a pest control company to get rid of the rats. Two people from the company came and kept the rat killing powder. It was mixed in the air in powder form.

The family was sleeping in an AC room.

Giridharan’s entire family was sleeping in the AC room. The poison took effect during the night and the entire family fell seriously ill. When the family woke up, everyone complained of dizziness. And after a few minutes each member started vomiting. When the neighbors came to know about this, they immediately admitted everyone to the hospital.

Kundrathur police say that an FIR has been registered against the pest control company in this matter. And further investigation has been done in this regard.
