A one-day training for representatives of affiliated organizations on e-Kavach application was organized under the chairmanship of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Verma at the training center of the Chief Medical Officer office located at Samadhan Purwa on Friday. This training was organized under the aegis of the Health Department in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit (UPTSU). In this training, detailed information was given on regular vaccination, ante-natal and post-natal care, family health survey register.
On this occasion, CMO said that E Kavach application is playing a better role in promoting digitalization in the health sector. At present, the achievement of the program is being reviewed regularly from the state level based on the data of e-Kavach portal. Updating health information on the e-Kavach portal is one of the priorities of the state government.
He said that the progress of the work of ANM and Asha workers can be seen through e-Kavach. Through this application, accurate information about the health of women and children will also be available. Children and women will also be able to get information about which vaccines have been administered and which ones are left. This will help in providing quality health services at the community level. In the family health survey, accurately record the health information of all members including the head of the family.
CMO told the representatives that during the field visit, ANM and Asha workers should provide cooperation in this application, so that complete information can be entered on time on the e-Kavach application.
Nodal Officer and District Immunization Officer Dr. Rakesh Singh said that the feedback from the collaborative observation done by the representatives of the partner organizations has revealed that the health workers face difficulties in searching the beneficiaries and entering the information on the e-Kavach portal. . In this regard, the support provided by the representatives of partner organizations regularly during collaborative supervision of health programs to ANM and Asha workers in overcoming the difficulties faced on the e-Kavach portal is important.
During this, UPTSU state level representative Manish Kalwania, DSCO Mohammad Sharif trained about 20 representatives. On this occasion, representatives of WHO, UNICEF, UNDP and other organizations including DPM and DCPM were present.
