Benjamin Netanyahu furious over Flydubai attack: Said- Whoever is behind this will have to pay a heavy price

After the latest incident of targeting of flydubai flight, geopolitical tension in West Asia has once again reached its peak. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a direct and strong message strongly condemning this attack. Netanyahu has given a clear warning that those who planned and carried out this attack will not be spared under any circumstances and whatever forces are responsible behind this will have to pay a very heavy price. The Prime Minister’s Office issued the strong statement after an emergency review meeting with top security and intelligence officials in Tel Aviv.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to consider the incident an attack against just one airline or country, calling it a direct attack on global civil aviation security. He said that endangering commercial flights and the movement of innocent civilians is a flagrant violation of international rules and an unacceptable act. Israeli security apparatus is keeping a close watch on every aspect of this incident and intelligence agencies have been instructed to accurately identify the sequence of this attack, the weapons or techniques used and the terrorist organizations or regional forces involved.

Security reviews have been intensified in air corridors across the Middle East and Gulf region immediately following this incident. Various aviation authorities and security agencies have tightened the security arrangements of flights on the respective routes. Israeli defense experts believe that this attempt to target civilian flights could be part of a planned strategy to create instability in the region. Netanyahu’s strong statement clearly indicates that Israel is taking this matter very seriously and will not shy away from taking tough diplomatic and strategic steps if necessary.

Jerusalem has also appealed to the global community, the United Nations and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to take immediate cognizance of this serious incident. Netanyahu also underlined in his address that if such attacks on civil aviation were ignored, it would set an extremely dangerous precedent for the future. He has called upon allied countries and international forums to unite and take concrete preventive action against such elements, so that the safety of global air travel and passenger confidence can be restored.
