Bengal has been eclipsed by the name of Trinamool, it is not allowing development: Modi

New Delhi, March 6 (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a public meeting at the women's rally in Barasat in North 24 Parganas district today, said that the name of Trinamool has been eclipsed in Bengal. He is not allowing the development of this state to move forward. Referring to Sandeshkhali, he appealed to the women to defeat the Indi alliance and make it bloom in every corner of the country. India's women power is a strong pillar of developed India. In his speech focused on women, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the BJP government has worked continuously in the last 10 years to increase the economic power of India's women power.

Referring to the Sandeshkhali incident, the Prime Minister alleged that the Trinamool government, which is working under the pressure of appeasement and touts, can never provide security to sisters and daughters. Trinamool leaders are committing atrocities against the sisters and daughters of poor, Dalit and tribal families at various places. The Trinamool government has faith in its tyrannical leader and does not have faith in the Bengali sisters and daughters. The wave of anger of women power is not going to be limited to Sandeshkhali.

Describing Sandeshkhali as a shameful incident, the Prime Minister said that the grave sin of atrocities on women power has been committed under Trinamool rule. The incident is such that anyone's head will bow in shame. The Trinamool government here does not care about the plight of the people. The Trinamool Congress government is using all its power to protect the criminals of the women of Bengal, but the state government has received a setback first from the High Court and then from the Supreme Court.

He said that the BJP government has decided to impose death penalty for a heinous crime like rape. For easy registration of complaints of women, we have arranged for 'Women Helpline'. Trinamool government can never provide security to women and Trinamool government is not allowing the helpline to operate in Bengal.

Recalling his dedicated life, the Prime Minister said that today he is repaying the debt of love and affection he received from the people by taking over the reins of the country. He said that the opposition alliance is now targeting him personally out of frustration over defeat in the upcoming elections. Describing himself as a part of the family of 140 crore people of the country, he said that the opposition cannot understand this. He said that while living a servile life for years, despite not having even a single penny in his pocket, it was the mothers and sisters of the country who never let him remain hungry.
