Benefit as many people as possible from the Prime Minister's Surya Ghar Yojana – Collector Namrata Gandhi

Dhamtari, August 5 (HS). Collector Namrata Gandhi reviewed the progress of Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana by holding a weekly time limit meeting on August 5. She said that the concerned officers should ensure that maximum number of people get the benefit of this scheme. For this, extensive publicity should be done in the camps currently organized in urban bodies. On this occasion, the collector took information about seasonal diseases like diarrhea, malaria etc. in the district and instructed the health staff to work diligently. She said that adequate availability of life saving medicines should be ensured in all health centers. CEO District Panchayat Roma Srivastava, Additional Collector GR Markam and other district level officers were present in the meeting.

In the time limit meeting, the collector reviewed Kisan Kitab, diversion and recovery, disputed-undeputed name transfer, partition, demarcation, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Jal Jagaar, fogging, attendance of children in Anganwadis, recruitment of workers and assistants, hot cooked food, sickle cell, caste certificate etc.

Collector Gandhi said that it should be ensured that there is no lack of any documents in the Gram Sabhas to be held in the coming days. Along with this, the drop-out children were counselled and asked to get re-admitted to school and information was taken about land acquisition and forest rights leases. The collector said that in view of increasing the rank of panchayats under the Swachh Bharat Mission, the collector has given instructions to fulfil the prescribed standards. He took information about the houses built so far under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and directed the concerned officials to complete the incomplete houses by the end of August. In the meeting, the collector reviewed all the activities including user charges, garbage collection, solid waste management under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
