Ranchi, August 13 (HS). After Chief Minister Hemant Soren took immediate cognizance of the news published in a local newspaper titled “No bench, no desk, children of CM School of Excellence studying sitting on the ground”, bench desks have been made available to Sakchi Balika Mukhyamantri Utkrishta Vidyalaya within 24 hours. It is the priority of the state government to provide quality and excellent education along with resource-rich education to school children in the state.

As soon as the news came to light, following the instructions of the Chief Minister, a team led by the District Education Officer inspected the school and immediately completed the process of providing benches and desks. The team has also supplied other necessary resources to the school. After providing benches and desks in the school, the girl students of the school have expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.

Seeing the increasing number of children, resources are being continuously provided

Due to the quality and free education being provided in the Chief Minister's Excellence Schools run by the state government and recognized by the CBSE Board, a large number of children from private schools are also getting enrolled in these schools. Keeping in mind the increasing number of students, resources are being supplied to each CM School of Excellence and block level Adarsh ​​Vidyalayas.

To overcome the shortage of teachers in the Chief Minister's Excellence Schools, the School Education and Literacy Department of the State Government has deputed and posted qualified and experienced teachers of CBSE in all 80 Chief Minister's Excellence Schools. In the first week of August, 2024, all the deputed and posted teachers were also given special training at Jharkhand Academic Council. To develop discipline and leadership skills among the teachers of Chief Minister's Excellence Schools, they have been given special training at IIM Ranchi and IIM Ahmedabad.

Four applications came for one seat, section was extended

There is enthusiasm among the students for enrollment in Mukhyamantri Utkrishta Vidyalayas. More applications have been received in proportion to the seats set for enrollment for the session 2024-25. This year 51,500 students have applied for enrollment in Mukhyamantri Utkrishta Vidyalayas. The process of enrollment in class 9th and 11th is still going on. In view of the increasing trend of children in enrollment, the number of seats has also been increased by the department this year. In the last session, enrollment was taken in 63,554 seats, whereas this year the number of seats has been increased to 73,554. In view of the increasing number of children, the section in the class room has also been increased.
