New Delhi: Exit polls were announced by various agencies after the completion of the voting process for Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. Most of the exit polls have indicated a BJP coalition government in both the states. Among all the agencies, only Axis My India has claimed that JMM-Congress government will be formed in Jharkhand.
Surveys have claimed five-seven victories of BJP in the by-elections held on nine seats of Uttar Pradesh. The real picture will be revealed from the results on 23rd.
Exit polls were declared on all the seats in Maharashtra, while the second phase of voting was completed in Jharkhand. In Maharashtra, the party that wins 145 out of 288 seats will form the government, while in Jharkhand, which has 81 seats, 41 seats are required for majority. In Maharashtra, there is a coalition government of BJP-Shinde group, Shiv Sena-Ajit Pawar group and NCP. Whereas in Jharkhand there is a coalition government of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress. According to the conclusion of exit poll, BJP’s NDA alliance will retain power in Maharashtra and will also snatch Jharkhand from the opposition. The results will be declared on November 23, but before that the exit poll data has been released.
According to Matrice exit poll, NDA will get 42 to 47 seats out of 81 in Jharkhand, while India Alliance will get 25 to 30 seats. According to People’s Pulse’s claim, out of 288 seats in Maharashtra, the NDA alliance will get 175 to 195 seats, while the India Alliance will get 85 to 112 seats. The agency has given 44 to 53 seats to NDA and 25 to 37 seats to India Alliance in Jharkhand. Axis MyIndia has estimated that Bharat Alliance’s vote share is 45 percent while NDA’s vote share is 37 percent.
In Maharashtra, Chanakya Strategies has claimed that the BJP alliance will get 152 to 160 seats while the Bharat alliance will get 130 to 138 seats. However, according to Democrat Rudra, the real fight in Maharashtra will be between NDA and Bharat Alliance and it is predicted that Mahayuti (NDA) will get 128 to 142 seats, while Mahavikas Aghadi (Bharat Alliance) will get 125 to 140 seats and others Will meet. 18 to 23 seats. By-elections have been held on nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, some exit polls have predicted that BJP will win five to seven of these nine seats. However, the real picture will emerge only when the results are declared on November 23.
