Before booking gas cylinder, see the new rate list: Today’s prices of domestic and commercial LPG released from Delhi, Noida to Lucknow.

If you are thinking of booking an LPG cylinder for your home or shop today, then first of all it is very important for you to know today’s latest rates. Government oil marketing companies (OMCs) have updated the prices of both domestic and commercial gas cylinders for today. In the month of June, the prices of domestic gas cylinders were increased by ₹ 29, after which the prices have remained at the same level in July also. At present, a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder is available for ₹ 942 in the country’s capital Delhi, while in Faridabad (Haryana) its price has been fixed at ₹ 943.50.

Prices vary in different cities of the country due to local taxes (VAT) and transportation costs imposed in different states. Today’s prices in major cities are as follows:

• Delhi: ₹942.00

• Noida: ₹939.50

• Mumbai: ₹941.50

• Lucknow: ₹979.50

• Kolkata: ₹968.00

• Chennai: ₹957.50

• Jaipur: ₹945.50

• Patna: ₹1,031.50

• Chandigarh: ₹951.50

• Assam: ₹991.00

For Shopkeepers: New Prices of 19 KG Commercial Cylinder

Today’s prices have also been released for restaurants and shopkeepers using commercial gas cylinders. The rates of 19 kg commercial cylinder in major cities are given below:

• Delhi and Noida: ₹2,930.00

• Haryana: ₹2,932.00

• Mumbai: ₹2,885.50

• Lucknow: ₹3,052.50

• Kolkata: ₹3,081.50

• Chennai: ₹3,106.00

• Jaipur: ₹2,957.50

• Patna: ₹3,227.00

Why do LPG prices increase and decrease every month?

Usually, oil companies review the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month, although due to international market pressure, it can be changed in the middle of the month also. LPG prices are mainly decided on the basis of the rate of crude oil and LPG in the international market, exchange rate of rupee against dollar, cost of freight and local taxes of the states.

Big relief to Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries: The government continues to provide a bumper subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2 kg domestic cylinder to eligible beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), which is transferred directly to their linked bank account (through DBT).
