Another important name has been added to the list of Delhi’s achievements. Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) has now become the first airport in the country which connects directly to 150 destinations. The credit for achieving this new milestone goes to Thai AirAsia’s new flight, which started direct flight service between Delhi and Bangkok-Don Mueang (DMK). This service is the 150th destination of Delhi Airport.
Airbus A330 aircraft will fly on this route twice a week, which is planned to be increased to four times a week from January 2025.
New achievement of Delhi Airport
Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) informed about this achievement on Monday. According to DIAL, Delhi Airport has become the first Indian airport which is connected to 150 destinations including domestic and international.

- vancouver
- Washington Dulles

On Sunday, Thai AirAsia Airbus A330 aircraft are being used in this service.
Flight Schedule:
- Currently, this flight is operating twice a week.
- From January 2025, it will be increased to four times a week.
Importance of Delhi Airport
DIAL spokesperson said that 88% of long distance destinations from India are connected to Delhi Airport. Additionally, 56% of all long-haul weekly flights departing from India operate from Delhi Airport.
