What is measles?

Drink plenty of water, juice, electrolytes etc. to keep the body hydrated.

Fever
Take medicine to reduce it. Ibuprofen reduces fever. But aspirin should not be given to children. Be very careful when children get measles.

Vitamin A: Eat vitamin A foods and take vitamin A supplements if prescribed by your doctor.

Isolated: Treating children suffering from measles individually can prevent it from spreading to other children.

Can measles be prevented?
There is no specific treatment once you have measles, but there are treatments to prevent measles from developing. Rubella (MMR) vaccine should be given first within 12–15 months, then again between 4–6 years of age.
